Things To Do In Orlando

We are excited that you are planning to traveling to Orlando for our wedding. We wanted to make it easy for you as you begin making preparations. There are so many things to do in Orlando and the Central Florida area and we have a few recommendations to put into your itinerary.

Being in Orlando you will have access to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Island of Adventures, Sea World, Aquatica, Wet n Wild, and Discover Cove. Those are the top tier attractions, but some of the 2nd tier attractions are Fun Spot, WonderWorks, The Holy Land Experience, iFly Orlando, and Gatorland. A great show to go see is La Nouba - Cirque due Soleil.

There are great beaches in all directions!

Although Orlando is in the center of Florida, there are great nearby beaches in all directions. Clearwater Beach is great and is about 1.5 hours west of Orlando (Whittney's favorite). Cocoa Beach is 1 hour east of Orlando. Then you have New Smyrna Beach & Daytona Beach that are about 1.5 hours Northeast of Orlando.

Other great attractions that are outside of Orlando, but are worth the trip are Busch Gardens in Tampa which is 1 hour west and the Kennedy Space Center in Titusville which is 1 hour east.

If shopping is your thing you have the options of the Orlando International Premium Outlets and the Orlando Vineland Premium outlets. Then you have the Florida Mall and The Mall at Millenia.

Finding food will not be a problem. Staying in Orlando you will have a large selection of restaurants and great eateries.
