Bridezilla!? I Think Not...
Wednesday April 1, 2015

Some would say that I have the potential to be or that I am a bridezilla! I think not! I just call it "perfection". I cannot help that I want things to look a certain way on my wedding day. I have a vision and I'm sticking to it. I have only had "almost" 1 bridezilla moment during this 10 months of wedding planning, so I think I am doing good.
Planning a wedding is very stressful at times. In the mind of the bride she is wanting to create "The Perfect Day" for her, the groom, and their guests. That can be a very overwhelming responsibility.
My tips on getting through the planning without becoming a Bridezilla are:
- Make time for yourself
- Take a break from planning
- Don't let it consume you
- Have your friends and family help
- Learn how to delegate
I will say that with your wedding day being just about one of the most memorable days in your life, it is not worth losing valuable relationships over. Fights with parents, friends, and other family members just aren't worth it.
My best advice is to hire a wedding planner because they can help to alleviate a great deal of stress! I am a wedding planner and even I have someone that I am working with for my big day. Sometimes a wedding planner doesn't always fit in the budget, so the next best thing to do is to keep your family and friends close! :-) Don't be afraid to ask for help.
